BEN PETERS
Ben is the lead agent with Mission Real Estate Group. He is the son of a real estate investor, real estate has always been in his blood. From helping his dad flip homes, to rental managements, Ben got to know the ins and outs of the real estate process. Right after college, Ben received his license. After several years of working a big brokerage model, he started Mission Real Estate Group. Ben wanted to get outside himself and make a difference both locally and abroad.
When Ben is not doing real estate or helping with missions projects, you can catch him lifting weights, enjoying a Vikings game, and spending time with his wife and kid. Ben is also a big foodie. Enjoying breakfast, lunch, or dinner at a local restaurant is one of his favorite things to do!
ZACH STEBBING
Real Estate gives Zach the opportunity to help people everyday! Coming from a Non-Profit management background, his first taste of Real Estate was when he was a client of MREG. He saw the value of a trustworthy Realtor and immediately was hooked. After finding his dream home, he knew he wanted to give others that same valuable experience. Buying your home is one of the biggest investments you will make and the opportunity to educate and guide you though that process gives meaning to what he does.
Outside of work, Zach loves spending time with his wife and kids! He also helps coach a high school snowboard team. Zach love anything outdoors; hunting, fishing, camping, and taking trips to the BWCA.
CHAUNCEE HOLLINGSWORTH
Practical, holistic change is something that fires Chauncee up everyday. Real Estate has always been a huge passion of his and he is excited to help others achieve their dream. His goal is to help others create financial freedom and generational home ownership.
Chauncee loves spending time with his wife, Tara, playing basketball, and hanging out with his friends. He wants all of his clients to feel like family before the end of their transaction!
SHELBY CHILDS
Shelby was born and raised in Dakota County. She has her Bachelor’s Degree in Business & Technology and has always worked in sales. In June 2020, Shelby obtained her real estate license and knew she found her thing. Her first full year in real estate she achieved MREG’s “Rookie of the Year” status. Selling over 7 million the first year. She specializes in helping first time home buyers and empty nesters. She loves this area and finds joy in helping people find the place they spend their lives.
JIMMY MCKENZIE
Jimmy was born and raised in Texas. Even with his laid back personality and Texas slang such as Y’all, Fixin To, Right Quick and Ain’t, Jimmy has embraced the Mid-West culture. He has a bachelors degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management. Jimmy builds his business rooted in communication, dedication, and integrity. He has the ability to cater and adapt to his clients Real Estate needs.
One of his favorite quotes is by the great Kobe Bryant, “It’s the one thing you can control. You are responsible for how people remember you—or don’t. So don’t take it lightly.” Rest assured, he will listen to you with a passionate ear and work endlessly to achieve our desired results. Aside from the real estate world, Jimmy is busy building custom wood furniture, traveling with his wife and kids and playing some hoops.
TARA HOLLINGSWORTH
Tara was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota and has a passion for ownership. With her background in event planning, program and project management, & youth work, Tara has been able to notice and understand how ownership allows you to flourish, regardless of your field. Tara, along with her husband and fellow real estate agent, Chauncee, bought their first home in 2018. Ever since then, their passion for investment, generational ownership and legacy hasn’t been able to be quenched. Tara is passionate about empowering clients to walk away feeling empowered and informed all while enjoying the journey together! Tara sees it as an honor to be involved in such an important moment in someone’s life.
MATT GUSMER
Matt’s passion for real estate developed through investing. From buying his first property in 2018, his realtor at the time guided me through the process in such a gentle and caring way that really stuck with him. Matt especially admired how they didn’t pressure him into any decisions and were truly there to serve and guide him with an abundance of advice and experience. This later led to his decision to become a realtor and do the same!
From managing his own rental property, to investing in multiple syndications, and doing a rehab, Matt has learned about the investment side of real estate and is so fulfilled by helping others pursue financial freedom and find a safe and pleasant place to call home. Matt considers it a great honor and responsibility to serve and guide people through one of the largest investments of their life!
DEREK GJESTSON
Derek became interested in Real Estate and how to achieve financial freedom through it while he was in college. He listened to hours of Real Estate Podcasts and eventually saved up for his first house. Once he closed on my first house, it became an obsession.
Derek taught himself how to be a Realtor by taking an online course and then working for a Real Estate mentor who encouraged him to get licensed in 2020. Since then he has bought his first rental property and has helped over 20 people achieve their real estate goals.
Derek’s full time job is working as a first responder in the metro area. He has combined his two passions and now focuses on helping first responders buy & sell real estate. His goal is to help first responders learn the power of Real Estate and how anyone can become financially free through it!
KAREEN ANUGHOM
Kareen was first introduced to the Real Estate Industry a few years ago through Strong Pillar Construction, a home remodeling company that her husband owns and operates in the Twin Cities. He encouraged her to pursue her Real Estate license. She joined Mission Real Estate Group last year to help other families buy and sell properties. She is known for her attention to detail and ability to navigate complex real estate transactions.
Kareen is deeply committed to promoting diversity, equity and inclusion in all aspects of her work. She is passionate about helping clients find their dream homes, build their investment portfolios and achieve their real estate goals.
ANGIE PETERS
Angie wears many hats here at Mission Real Estate Group! She is the Transaction Coordinator as well as the Marketing & Events Coordinator! She began at MREG in June of 2021 and the love for her job grows everyday. Angie loves being able to help our agents and clients have a smooth transaction.
Fun fact – she is married to lead agent, Ben Peters!
Aside from real estate, you can typically find Angie spending time at home with her son, Leroy, and husband, Ben. She loves to organize, work out, play volleyball, basketball, pickle ball, board & card games. She also loves to travel & indulge in tasty food! One of her greatest joys is being a mama and spending time with family!
